Descriptions:

Data Detritus is a collaborative installation by artist-researcher Rohma Khan and Artversation.com, addressing e-waste, textile waste, and digital waste. Using discarded digital hardware, worn-out textiles, and a dystopian display, it highlights that 90% of emerging data is R.O.T. (redundant, obsolete, trivial). The work engages with Ejaz Gallery’s framing legacy in Lahore, while curator Aaarish subverts traditional notions of what deserves to be framed. As part of a multisensory exhibition, Digital Leftover critiques AI’s impact on art and humanity, urging reflection on the wasteful byproducts of our digital age.
